Street Roots is a weekly social justice newspaper that provides low-barrier income opportunities to individuals experiencing homelessness and income instability. Each week, Streets Roots vendors purchase the newspaper for 25 cents each and sell them for $1 on the streets of Portland, keeping the profit and tips as their own income.
